Mature, open large rosette to 90cm. diameter x 50cm. high. Arching, lightly-spined, bronze green, slightly-scurfed, strappy, leathery leaves 45cm.long x 9cm. wide. The leaning or semi- decumbent, mealy-stemmed spike is 70cm. long and 9mm. thick. The fertile part of the cylindrical inflorescence is 12cm. long x 4.5cm. diameter with bright rose pink ovaries / sepals and mauve flowers which blacken when spent. Reg.
