Species variant of Ae. orlandiana, an upright, chunky rosette to 35cm. high x 40cm. diameter..Light green, black-spined foliage, mottled brown stripe down centre of each leaf. Mature, lower leaves tend to droop. (See 'Jean Merkel'' & 'Muelleri'). Typical Ae. orlandiana, erect inflorescence to 50cm. high.
