Mature rosette to 50-90cm. diameter x 40cm. high. Broad, grey-green, scurfed, arching, spineless leaves. Erect or arching spike to 60cm. tall with a compound, pink thistle-like shape, which often is distorted (fasciculated) by the very branched, lengthened apical meristem becoming crested (cristate). Named after Linda Hunter of Miami, Florida. Possibly identical to, or a grex sibling of, Aechmea 'Stefanie'. Registered 8/2008 by Leo Castro. Details amended 7/2016 by G. Lawn.
