Mature, open rosette to 12 "(30cm.) diameter x 10 " (25cm.) high. About 20 arching, scurfed, silvery grey leaves with long, hooked, white spines 3/8 " (10mm) . long, imprinted on the corresponding leaf below. Outer foliage develops a greenish maroon caste.
