Large open rosette to 1.5 metres diameter x 1 metre high. Arching, red-spined, red-edged green leaves, each 10cms. wide x 1 metres long which become all red in strong light. Inflorescence is well-branched, up to 1.4 metres tall, not perennial as with some Deuterocohnias. Stem is orange/red with orange/yellow flowers. Reg. Doc. 3/2013 by Dennis Cathcart.
