cv. of unknown xNeomea parentage - Medium rosette w/discolored 18" leaves - maroon below and dark green above - semi-recessed inflorescence compact and branched w/dark red bracts and blue flowers - Hummel said, "One of the best - blue flowers from compound flowering head - long lasting" - Bromeliad Treasury 1983 said, "The 2" x 15" leaves are green on top and a purplish-maroon below - upright shape - inflorescence is a cluster of tear drop shaped ivory colored flower heads w/deep red sheaths at the base of each blue flower - the flower head appears in the cup of the rosette w/the heads just visible from the side".
